Description
A special release system was developed, which was to operate in saltwater, on land and in freschwater. A Diary tag for crocodiles was attached between the upper front dorsal scutes of the reptile.
We were able to deploy short- and medium-term devices on the animals. The tag recorded , among others, animal body temperature, env. temperature, speed, acceleration and heading requirements and compass heading. We were able to retrieve the devices via VHF or sonar receiver.
